| I miss you guys :(:(:(:(!!!!! | | |
| U of I update!
I only have ONE morning class....such a college kid already....hahaha only I'm just kidding.
I lost my schedule already but I think it goes something like this....
I am taking one Learning Community--English 200 (1 class), and History 1877 to Present (Lecture Class and Discussion Class), which also includes a one hour per week discussion of these classes with a group of students and senior mentors. I have one Discovery Program course--Speech, I am taking Intro to Psych, and Intro to Political Theory. And then during the first week of school I am auditioning for a chour ensemble so we'll see about that! Linda--I am not in WIMSE but in the same dorm I guess, lol, Oglesby Hall, and I guess it is being remodeled this summer? Wait, am I in WIMSE? Oh, goodness.....
Alex's Grad party today 1-4!!! Come to see him!
I am now a lifeguard at Yogi Bear Camp in addition to my waitressing position. Hehe, yes, Yogi Bear now has a.....waterpark?
| Well I'm home for just a couple of days, and the relaxation is quite nice...
Who out there knows of Paul Logli? Maybe Sean? Anyhow, Mr. Logli is THE Illinois States Attorney. And I just received an undergraduate internship with him for next summer which only a few undergraduates receive! Meaning, I'll be working in Springfield interning with the ILLINOIS STATES ATTORNEY! The Top-dog! It was funny, I was at a scholarship dinner and I made a joke during my speech--there were a bunch of prosecutors in the audience and I said "Well, I'd like to practice law before going to politics and so if any of you out there are looking for an intern...[laughter]..." Paul Loglie happened to be the GUEST speaker and came up to me afterwards and offered me one!!!! Ohhhh let's hear it for uncanniness.
Sean--one of my friends from Ishnala graduated from DeForest last year and is going to be a sophomore at UC. He is ultra-conservative and wants to be a corporate attorney with the intentions of getting into heavy politics. I told him to watch out for you :)....his name is Robert. He said he is one of 12 Republicans on campus. Haha.
U of I registration this morning! Hope to talk to you all soon!
| The Dells is ROCKIN'...I love it....
Full time Ishnala at night and Full time Great Wolf Lodge in the mornings!
That means.....I work from 7AM-2PM/430PM-11PM.
I love early death. | | |
| Prom=AMAZING <3<3<3
I have to say my date was soo good looking :), my best friends Kath and Jess were absolutely to die for beautiful :), all the chicas rocked the floor, AINT NO HOLLA BACK GIRL was sort of as good as gold :), hanging with Marls and Dave is always a blast :), and my group was truly the best I could have asked for.
Post prom ice skating--best idea ever. But then we all got tired real fast and decided to conserve energy for Kalahari...which most definitely made it all worth the wait. So we crashed at Alex's and went to church the next day and for all of you Catholics out there-- Father Koutnik???? Ahhh. Then KALAHARI rocked my world over and over and over again. And that's all I can say :):):):)
Mark your mustang is unbelieveable, the Pizza Pub is delicious, and Kalahari must have been having an unofficial high school seniors prom thing. Oh and 45 were from Hononegah--and we shared a "HONONEGAH" Jacuzzi. I met like 10 people going to Illinois next year :), got called a bit** by some random girl and proceeded to chase her in desperate anger, went clubbing for about 5 minutes and listened to Ross lie about his age and get mad that the girl didn't believe him, and shared a good evening with the best of friends.
